INFO + RESOURCES
Conference Directors (CDs) oversee and communicate with the state, regional and local directors for the states within their conference boundaries. CDs are responsible for coordinating two conference events each season and have the ability to assist with Open and National events. Conference Directors also have access to run State, Regional and Local level ACL-points events using any of the Tournament Formats listed below. Conference directors are assigned by the ACL.
State Directors (SDs) oversee and communicate with the regional and local directors within their state boundaries. SDs are responsible for running monthly regional events and for coordinating their State Championship. SDs may be given the opportunity to assist with Conference events. State Directors have access to run State, Regional and Local level ACL-points events using any of the Tournament Formats listed below. State directors are assigned by the Conference Director where that state is located.
Regional Directors (RDs) oversee a dedicated area (region) and the local directors within that region. RDs are responsible for running monthly regional events. RDs may be given the opportunity to assist with Conference and State events. RDs have access to run Regional and Local level ACL-points events using any of the Tournament Formats listed below. Regional Directors are selected and approved by Conference Directors each June-July via an application process. Successful applicants are typically announced at the end of July. Regional Director applications for the 2022-2023 season will be available here starting on June 3, 2022.
Local Directors (LDs) have the ability to run unlimited Local level ACL-points events using any of the Tournament Formats listed below. Local events are typically weekly blind draws, leagues and independent weekend tournaments. LDs may be given the opportunity to assist with higher level events.
High School and College directors have the ability to use the ACL software at no charge. ACL points cannot be awarded for any events within this level. Directors who sign up at this level have the ability to upgrade during the season.
